Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that coverage is not narrow.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.
FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That will round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
This is the part that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Scam brokers do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. But factor into how you think about it.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You fund your account, TabTrade add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you deposit.
